Terrible trend going on this football season with the books, anyone know why?

Caribsports, no carib classic challenge, pick 10 weekly, or last man standing
WagerWeb, no beat the bookie contest
Betdsi, no football handicapping contest like they had last year for their clients
5dimes, late posting of ncaa office pool on friday

I am sure there are other books too, those are just the four I have dealt with this year.

Books are no longer interested in handicapping contest for their clients, what gives?

Heritage still has the same contest as last year. At least the rules are the same, I am not sure about the prize allocations at year end.

My theory is that the books are doing so well in getting deposits, they have no need to offer incentives.

That is a thought, but that would be even scarier that those sticky bonuses and 10X rollovers are working better than the incentives books give their clients to make money competing against each other. Not many beat the books, but as BTP shows you can beat a lot of people who swear they beat the books.

Its a different breed of gamblers now a days, its less Americans more of everyone else, and they dont care about NFL football, so why should the books cater to the few when the many are their bread and butter, JMO.
