So many people are sleeping on Seattle for some reason, including my boy easyliving. Seattle has the 1st or 2nd best defense in the NFL. They have the best secondary, so good luck if Scam Newton is going to sling it a lot. People do realize that Carolina really still has only two big players, right? Cam Newton and Steve Smith. You put Richard Sherman on Smith and it is over. You might as well call that half of the field shutdown. Sherman is the second best CB in the league which probably makes him the 2nd best DEFENSIVE BACK IN THE LEAGUE (Don't get it twisted, Darrelle Revis is the only legitimately shutdown CB in the league but Sherman will be there SOON) and he dwarfs Steve Smith in size. Smith is 5-9 and 185 lbs and Sherman is SIX inches taller at 6-3 and 195lbs. I like Steve Smith, but guy is basically a midget out there.

Also, people are thinking Scam Newton really is the Superman he says he is. Newton is OVERRATED and apparently on this forum Russell Wilson is still an unknown. Wilson may be the most underrated QB in the league, I guess. Newton will once again be bitching in press conferences and putting out a suggestion box real soon.

Only hope Carolina has is home field, which is an advantage to anyone, and that is it. It is WEEK 1, that "they have to travel across the country" shit doesn't apply here. The Seahawks may fly to Carolina tomorrow.
