Yes I am slightly depressed about that. But I am depressed at the end of every season of every sport. I get into certain rhythms and I get a good feel for what teams are all about and what each book is doing for that sport.
Then it's over. I can make little notes to keep on file but I know I'll basically be starting from scratch next year.
But NFL has a special place for me. It has a meagre number of games compared to other leagues - but there is something about it. A busy NFL Sunday is a special thing. Gambling aside, I like the game and the league better than the others.

I'm relieved. I'm burned out on the NFL. Besides, I've got every televised game recorded, so I can watch any game any time I get the itch.

Football has been over for me for a while, I love the watching the playoffs but with only 1 or 2 games in a day I find myself sometimes forcing a play.

Amen to that, the only reason to be depressed is that we won't have an Arena football season to complement the WNBA.

i dont mind things right now, as every pretty much is the same thing. hasn't been much NFL for the past month anyway.
i like the current sports rotation. if you include WNBA and arena football (N/A for this season), i find the sport rotation perfect.
to be honest though, i'd much prefer NFL games to be more spread out during the week. why is it only on sundays? and then just one game on thursdays and mondays? should be like college FB, have more games during the week.

I was depressed at the end of week 15-16 where we had a full slate of meaningful games. Playoffs isn't the same as the regular season to me, it's more of an adjustment period.

Super Bowl sunday is both the best and worst day of the year for me. It's the last game of the season, well almost, but I don't count the probowl. Hell does anyone actually watch the probowl? If you actually bet on the probowl, go ahead and check in with your local chapter of GA, really, I'm not kidding. Anyways, I'll get over the depression real fast as the market is now there to give me my gambling jones for the rest of the year.

I only put $20 on that game. Nothing wrong with that.
