Bonds is still a very tough out, I would think if healthy and a DH like In Boston or another hitters ball park would hit between 40-50hrs still

i don't think i would go as far as 40-50 home runs at his advanced age. I will say that he should sign with an American league team though and become a DH, because that's about all he can do right now.

Here's what I came up with for the top HR seasons by batters 40 and over. Ages are judged by how old the player was on Opening Day of the seasons listed. All I can say is, "Go Julio!"

Player (age 40) . HR Year
          Darrell Evans . . 34 1987
          Hank Sauer. . . . 26 1957
          Dave Winfield . . 26 1992
          Harold Baines . . 25 1999
          Edgar Martinez. . 24 2003
          Eddie Murray. . . 22 1996
          Hank Aaron. . . . 20 1974
          George Brett. . . 19 1993
          Carlton Fisk. . . 19 1988
          Reggie Jackson. . 18 1986
          Willie Mays . . . 18 1971
          Rafael Palmeiro . 18 2005

Player (age 41) . HR Year
          Ted Williams. . . 29 1960
