Umass vs Wisconsin

First game on the first Saturday! Gotta make a play here, leaning towards taking the 44 with UMass as I usually take Wisconsin giving a lot of points and usually get burned.

Any thoughts?

Umass is terrible. ...on my lines I have Wisconsin -30 so there is value there BUT umass so bad

It is a lone of points for Wisconsin to cover but tread lightly taking Umass. Umass is absolutely horrible and this game could turn ugly. I dont see how Umass will be able to score many points against Wisconsin and Wisconsin might run the ball all over Umass. For me its either Wisconsin or no play but if i end up playing the game its only going to be a unit or half a unit on Wisconsin.

UMass hanging tough... i didn't have the balls to take them, but that was alot of points. thought UMass would be worst non-GState FBS team this year.

wisconsin = 1st year coach though. i have to do some sort of study. first year coaches seem poor ATS.

I don't think that's the reason to be unimpressed. I don't think it's his personality to run up the score on a far inferior opponent...plus Wisconsin has had a ton of kicking problems recently, so it makes sense to try and get the guy some attempts in a game before the conference season starts.

I'm more unimpressed by how boring they look, although I would imagine they're keeping it pretty vanilla the first two weeks of the season against scrub teams. Stave's been terrible though.
