gosh, I hope we can just bear the pain for awhile and get out of these bad times the right way, and not create bubbles or print phantom money to get all inflationary. It will get worse at first, but the younger generation needs to learn how to save and to cut up their credit cards....its ridiculous. We save so little now its unreal.

I try to preach this to everyone I talk to. They come back with, well I need one for emergencies. That is a cop out. Nothing better for emergencies then cash. If you learn to budget and save, you will never need a credit card.

thanks Bread....I'm so buried with paperwork I put off and my calender is murderous going forward. I spent the last 3 days and today getting unburied...I'm still at my desk now, but taking a much needed break......

I might not be completely out of the woods till march..... things are tough financially with where all my funding comes from...and I really have to polish my grant proposals and reports to govt bodies on funding already received so that we don't run out of $.... getting the budget done this year was very near impossible...
