    golf is definitely a sport. it requires a good deal of athleticism and has a winner and loser. tiger woods makes it a sport lol

      I asked my buddy who is a GOLF PRO that played collegiately, currently working at a major atlanta country club. His response:

      No, its a game. There are athletes that play golf, but not every golfer is an athlete.
