I never understood this approach. Why not start with a theoretical bankroll of 10,000 and allow as many or as few plays as you want (Min 50 plays)? Any line you want with a severe penalty is it doesn't check out with the SBRLines?

To say it is an air-headed understanding of betting strategy doesn't even really cover it. I don't know how to account for such a bad decision.

There are two things could have happened:

Richkas could have won $500 which apparently is life-changing money for him.

Richkas could lose - and then obviously a STIFF would follow. He'd be exactly where he is now.

How do you weigh those things and decide that STIFFing now and giving yourself no chance for the $500 is the way to go?

I think we need a new expression on the forum. "Doing a Richkas." It would apply to the most inexplicably bone-headed strategical moves.

Like if a baseball team falls two games out of first place in August and gives up and trades all its best players, that would be doing a Richkas.

If a poker player with a thousand dollars already in the pot folds on a 1 dollar bet while he still has 18 outs that would win it for him, that would be doing a Richkas.
