Random comment but Elijah Hood, a 5-star RB from Charlotte Catholic, committed to UNC today. 14th overall player in the nation according to Rivals (I personally prefer Rivals over ESPN and 247 Sports). Kid is hell of a runner, check out some of his highlight films on YouTube if you are interested. Rushed 37 times for 325 yds and 5 TD's in the first game of the season this past weekend.

I don't know where you got that 10-3 ATS record as a dog for UNC but going back to 2008 they are 8-6 ATS as a dog and also. 2-8 in first game away from Chappel Hill. Last time in South Carolina was 1990 and they lost 27-5. Last win in columbia was 1983. UNC's defense was horrific last year. They gave up 30 points or more in 6 games. The problem with Fedora's run n shoot style of offense is it leads to a lot of 3 and outs which means their defense is gonna be on the field a lot. There is no breeze in WBS and it's gonna be a hot night. UNC's defense will wear out quickly. SC's defense is stout and will limit UNC to no more than 2 td's. I think USC will score 30-40 points with no problem on UNC. I'm not sure why everyone is so quick to jump on the UNC wagon just yet. USC is ranked #6 for a reason.Comment -

It's funny because I have been a UNC fan my whole life but I graduated from the University of South Carolina last year. Maybe I'm crazy or just still a novice, but I took UNC at +10.5, bet more when it went to 12.5, and will bet more when it jumps again. I think this game will be closer than what you think. UNC is not bad and they are fired up this year to show it. Good spot for them.
