    What is free play?
I just made my first deposit on BetJam and was credited $100 Free Play. What is this exactly?

I tried searching, but I couldn't find any info.

Freeplay (in your case) you bet 100 and whatever you win from that bet you get to keep...if you lose, you lose nothing.

Usually comes with some kind of rollover

      What AA Said above

In his example, if you have the $100, you can wager it all at once, or a little at a time. But as AA mentioned, if you win, you then have to wager it a few more times before you can cash it out. Rollovers vary by book & promotion at the time, but the average rollover is 4x - 6x.

It is a bonus with conditions usually (NO ML's or certain sports)...read the rules.

        For example say you bet

JJGold -3 (-110) with your freeplay
The wager would be 100 for 90...you would get 90 dollars

Conversely, you could bet JJGold +130
The wager would be 100 for 130...you would get 130

If you lose you get NADA

                  Just the winnings BigAl

But then, once again, you would then have to wager that $90 a few more times (however many times they state in the rollover) before you could withdraw.

Say the rollover is 4x. Then we will have to wager our freeplay four times before we can cash it out. Say we can find a -110 bet that we have a 70% chance to win each time. Then our EV is 0.7^4 * $100 * (100/110)^4 = $16.40, right?

                    Doesn't seem very good.

there are no -110 bets that win 70% of the time.

you can get 75% of the value of the free play by betting all 8 ways of a 3 team parlay
