Research shows that if kids learn sports when they are young they are more active as adults. Expose them to as many different sports as you can so that they can find the ones they like the most. Parents are the best role models for their kids so plan activities that you can do with your child like catch, shooting hoops, ping pong, hiking, biking, roller-skating or kicking soccer balls. It’s a great two-for-one; you will spend some quality time with your kid and both of you will get some exercise!
