I was bored the other day and was thinking about blackjack card counting systems. I was wondering what systems were most effective at each game, whether its single deck, double deck, or six deck. Hi Lo is by far the widest utilized card counting system out there, mostly due to its relative ease. However, how would it compare to other card counting systems? I decided I'd write a simulation application to test it out. It has sort of evolved now as well. Along with graphical comparisons of various card counting systems (also in comparison to basic strategy) in each game, I'm currently adding other factors to compare, such as the number of players, the penetration % of the deck, etc. However, as I continue to write the program, I'm considering continuing further and creating a card counting training program as well. Basically, I'm wondering if there would be any commercial interest in such software and also if anyone would be willing to beta test the software for me once it's complete (probably a couple of weeks)...

#3I would be down to test it... But I can already tell you my "penetration %" is around 8", depends on how many beers, the chick, etcComment -

Good stuff. I'm writing mine in .NET. Most of the simulation algorithms are done but I want to create a counting trainer with it. Did you code a trainer with it too? Or did you just write strategy algorithms? Did you compare various counting systems like Hi-Lo, Hi-Opt, Uston, and Zen?Comment
