Mods: PLEASE clean up this forum, throw the idiots out....

There are about a dozen idiots who run from thread to thread in the sports handicapping sub-forums, filling up the threads with total nonsense. Those of us who are here to discuss SPORTS HANDICAPPING cannot have decent conversations or actually FIND the picks in the threads because of these idiots.

I am talking about the sports handicapping sub-forums, I could care less what goes on in players talk.

The idiots never discuss sports handicapping, they never make constructive posts. It is just post after post of complete bullshit.

These idiots are making the sub-forums pretty much unusable.

PLEASE get rid of these idiots. You know who they are. Ban them, restrict them to the private zone, disable their accounts, I don't really care.

I know I have been part of the problem because I tell these idiots off and that just fuels the fire. I'm not doing that anymore. I am putting the idiots on ignore.

Several of us are going to start a thread for NCAAB and NBA capping. The purpose of this thread will be to pool our ideas. All of us have been plagued by the idiots and we are sick of it. We don't want our threads filling up with stupid bullshit from posters who NEVER post anything remotely connected to sports handicapping.

PLEASE clean up this forum. There are about a dozen idiots who cause 90% of the problems. The forum is becoming unusable because to actually find a pick or a write up or something useful in a given thread you have to wade through 10 pages of bullshit from idiots.

I tell you, I had an instinct for a long time to avoid using the IGNORE feature. There were silly justifications in my head but bottom line: once I got over it and started sticking handles I found pointless on IGNORE, the forum became much, much better.

Now I wonder why I ever resisted.

The mods are in a ridiculous position with ideas/demands coming from all sides. No matter what they do, they're wrong. You'll drive yourself mental waiting for the mods to customize the forum to fit your personal taste.

My approach is to focus on what I can control. That means my attitude and my IGNORE list.

Agreed. I have close to a 100 on ignore. Interestingly, most don't post here anymore. So 'idiots' come and go.
