that for the first time in as long as I can remember have no interest in the superbowl. Neither of these teams really are very interesting. I haven;t watched one bit of covereage yet and I probably don't plan on it until Sunday.

Usually by now I have watched hours of coverage on ESPN. I generally love watching media day, hearing all the hype and trying to break down each team so I know who to bet. This year none of that...

Am I the only one that is feeling like that this year? There has to be a few of you out there that feel the same way. I just don't find either of these teams all that interesting.....

Superbowl is overhyped and takes too damn long. Who has time to watch a 5 hour football game with a gazillion commercials and a 45 min half time show?

I don't share your feelings. I am as intrigued about this Super Bowl as any.

Having said that, I never pay much attention to the hype or media day or whatever - so I can't relate/compare as far as that goes.

But I like the match-up.

I agree Amb. I have littl einterest in this Super Bowl. I think the last Super Bowl for me that I had this little interest in was the S.Diego/San Fran Super Bowl. I have squares on three different sheets, but besides that I may bet a couple of prop bets to make the day interesting. Don't like the line, and I don't like the O/U.

Had a thin layer of ice out in the sticks, but the roads were clear coming in pre-rooster this morning. Stuck right at 31°-32°F starting about six yesterday evening, but warming up to the 60s today with sunshine. Dallas is frosty even in the summer, at least their big hair women are

LT you are right, I am sure that I am looking at it from a bit of a fan's perspective. I doubt I will place a bet on the game just because I cannot get a decent feel every time i try to break down the game. I am hoping that it is at least entertaining...

Not much interest for me either, haven't watched anything at all about the Superbowl. LT is correct, bet the Superbowl the same as you would bet any other game. A lot of bettors feel like since this is the Superbowl, they need to put a bigger bet on the game. To me betting wise, it's just another game and I am leaning no play.
