Definitely a play on Cincy. Both Barney and Castro are sitting for the Cubs. Not to mention any Reds win gains them a game on the loser of Pirates/Cards. This is an important series for them and they know it, expect them to be swinging free.

Yeah I like the Padres again today, with CarGo on the DL - an now apparently Wilin Rosario out (he hurt his hammy in last nights game) that's a lot of power taken out of this lineup. AND De La Rosa has been roughed up by the Pads in the past. I'm going to see if Rosario is going to give it a go, but it seems likely he will be out.

I need to correct myself, De La Rosa has NOT been roughed up necessarily- but every game had been close with his winning decisions.

I wanted to take the Pirates as well until I saw how poorly Liriano pitches on the road. Borderline terrible. So even though the Cards hit lefties poorly, I couldn't back Liriano away from home.
