Problem is the people who would heed this advice, are already well aware.

You can't stop stupid. It's a disease that many are born with. For instance, just think of the intelligence of the average person, and then realize half the population is dumber than that. It's scary to think about.

The trick is being well balanced with your vices.....Dabble with different fun drugs if you like, drink a few times a week, go to the strip club with some friends, make some bets and watch some games.....Mix it up

If all you do is gamble and that's the only rush you get, there's a good chance you'll get in deep eventually and become too invested in it....Just keep it as another fun thing to do and you'll be fine

JJ good thread. and good advise.

my philosophy is pay your bills first and then see whats left for gambling.

The only money i spend on gambling is money i would have spent on luxury items anyway.

Fortunately i was up 4,000 in baseball. now i'm only up 2,000. It takes a bunch of will power to do it but i've tucked away the 2000 for football season.

It still pisses me off that i could have been up another couple of thousand but i'm trying to fight the urge to chase.

Fall is my favorite season of the year and it's not even close......Nothing beats a weekend in like the middle of October.....the weather and leaves changing, pumpkin flavored food and beer.....College Football leading into NFL Sundays, even MLB playoffs
