After listening to Michael Moore I thought no one died in Canada and they were God's new Chosen People. I guess someone snuck a gun into Canada from the evil United States and killed those poor people.

Vancouver is one of the cleaner Cities around, dominated by Asians

Rogue, Vancouver has a large (and very outspoken) gay community and the city is very much gay positive as well as being very liberal.

You can smoke a joint in the street and no cop would bother you.

You might like it there, but remember, as much as you might like it, as a foreigner you cannot stay forever.

I lived there a few years from 1993-1995, was a fun place, very beautiful scenery.

Agreed, I tend to believe that the Justice system in BC tends to be less harsh with criminal sentences, it's much different here in Ontario.

i would live in montreal or toronto but not vancouver. one of my UBC friend told me that one day his roomie opened a door and a viet asked him if he his name is such and such...he said yes, then the viet stabbed him and left. apparently that viet is the ex of the girl he is dating. this happened near campus.

a lot of police shooting people with no guns then covered it up.
