Dead last in the league in yards.
263 yards per game on offense, Sam Diego was the 2nd worst and averaged 297.2

2nd to last in the league in points.
15.6 points per game. The New England Patriots averaged more than double the Cards output.

Dead last in the league in 3rd down conversions

25.2% was pathetic. The Jaguars were #31 and converted 29.6%. Middle of the pack teams were around 40%.

    Tied for 4th most turnovers

They were a step behind Vick's Eagles, Sanchez's Jets, and Cassell's Chiefs for most turnovers.

    God Awful QB play.
Their leading passer had under 1200 passing yards. After Kolb got hurt his backups combined for 3 TD and 18 INT. I would argue that every 2nd string QB is better than what they had and that almost every team's 3rd stringer is better than what they had. The guys that Arizona was starting wouldn't even make 90% of teams in the league.

    Terrible rushing
The Cardinals leading runner ran for under 400 yards. That is pathetic.

    Terrible offensive line play
A lot of times when a quarterback plays crappy or an offense plays crappy the line gets blamed. Offensive lines get too much blame in my opinion for poor results. With that said the Cardinals line was terrible. When you mix a bad line, with a practice squad QB you are going to get awful play.

    Terrible coaching
Mike Miller had never been an OC before and his offense was awful. After he got fired he didn't get another NFL job, he's coaching in Canada.

Larry Fitzerald is one of the best receivers in the game, want to guess how many catches, TDs and yards he had?
He had under 800 yards, 71 catches and only 4 TD. That is pathetic for a player of his caliber.

It's amazing this team won 5 games last year with the worst offense in the league.

I agree. Kevin Kolb is at best a low end starter right now, and realistically a quality backup QB.

Look at how many backup QB's are better than the trash the Cardinals were starting. 3-TD and 18 Picks in a modern passing NFL is a joke.

Look at the backup QB's out there. Kyle Orton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Shaun Hill, Jason Campbell, Matt Hassellback, Matt Moore, Chad Henne, Tavaras Jackson, Vince Young, Derek Anderson, David Carr, Bruce Gradkowski, Chris Redman, Kurt Cousins.

Rex Grossman and Matt Barkley are #3's right now and would easily start over the trash the Cards were starting last year.

I am no Henne fan but he's way better than the trash the Cards started last year when Kolb was hurt.

The backup QB's I like are guys who are decent but don't have the prototypical size, height, arm strength to be franchise quarterbacks.

If Ryan Fitzpatrick or Bruce Gradkowski were taller, and had stronger arms they could be franchise players.

Then look at guy like Vince Young who have all of the physical attributes but he's just mentally not there. That's not a good player to have wasting away on your bench, you want a guy there that is engaged in the offense.

                  Henne isn't bad, considering.

But if he is a backup to the worst starting QB in the league, what does that say.

FWIW, I think Gabbart has zero future in the NFL. Pure trash.

solid Defense and a superstar receiver in Fitzgerald. Guy will be a first ballot hall of famer. Their still rebuilding and the O-line was awful last year as well. Luckily Palmer is used to playing behind bad O-lines

Any backup QB with half a brain would avoid coming to AZ like the plague. We allowed 58 sacks and 97 hits on our signal callers last year. Yes the QB's were a joke but the problem is and was our powder puff offensive line.

97 hits on QB is unreal. Thats an average of 6 hits per game. Most of these were knock you out of your socks hits too. I know with drafting Cooper and starting out of the shotgun we are suppose to correct this but the proofs in the pudding. If Palmer is not physically broken by November I will be impressed.

Henne is much better than Gabbert and I agree Gabbert is in no way shape or form a NFL QB.
