Ok, first of all, I do not work for a sportsbook, but rather am just the average joe who likes to pick the games from September until early April. Over the weekend, I jumped off of my betjamaica bandwagon, mainly to see if the grass was greener on the other side with all of the bonus and such. Anyways, once I added my 300 dollars to the betus account, I realized I didn't receive any bonus. I then called them promptly and the customer service guy was efficient and knowledgeable. My bonus was added, though the prerequisite that I must bet the amount 2 times over seemed a bit unfair, since you could only bet whole games to cover your 2 times amount. I was then informed that they do not give one free withdrawal a month and each withdrawal is 50 dollars a pop. As you all know, if you have been doing this a while, getting your money out is important, especially after you have hit for a grand or two for a weekend. Now comes the really crummy part. I played the Villanova second half on Saturday, went to the gym, and upon returning found that Nova had covered. I went into my account section, but found that the money had not been added. When I checked my past wagers, nothing was there. I called customer service guy and he told me that if I didn't have a printed receipt of the wager, I was out of luck. Are you kidding me. I have used at least five different sportsbooks over the years and never has this happened. Granted, it was only a 100 bucks, but it still pisses me off and I really don't want anyone else to have this happen to them.

dumb move. Betus has so many restrictions when you take their bonuses. That is why they offer so many. I got screwed on it. Signed up with a grand, had a huge freaking rollover so I went crazy with my betting. Got my balance up over 14K by the time they let me cash out, I cashed out 10K. So when I wanted to cash out at 7K I couldn't because they pulled all the restriction crap out of the hat (that's is not explained clearly on their website) and ended up costing them more money. To their credit they did get my payout quickly. This was last year around March.Comment -
Shoot yourself in the foot? Please. BetUS is far from am A+ out, but they have been fair to me. Just follow the rules. Do your rollover like any other book asks you too. Its not unreasonable. Yes BetUS excludes props, 1st halves, and baseball counts half. Its in the rules. Deal with it. You probably got at least a 50% bonus, its worth it. They pay. As far as the missing bet goes.. I can see this happeneing but I doubt it was them cheating you out of $100. The software leaves something to be desited. You pick a bet, click the bet type you want and wait......... then you put in an amount and wait........ click "place bet" then wait more......... then finally, at the last screen, after you put in your password CORRECTLY and wait once again, you get a bet number. I would guess this guys bet never quite made it all the way through this sometimes minute long process.Comment -

I cashed 5K from Betus after 3 agonizing months waiting for the checks to be processed. I would never wish anyone to go thru what I went. If you are a good bettor you don't need the bonus. Play at a fast hassle free payout book and you will thank me later.Originally posted by gambleballsComment -

Well, Im surprised a little so far. Choose betus as my first sportsbook. Quickly found out that might be a mistake. I put 200 dollars in december. I requested 2200 dollars payout, all but 400 bucks, on 1/26. 5 mins ago I got a knock on the door from the fed-ex man with my check. Came a lot faster than I expected. BETUS really has me and my hubby pulling our hair out. Have been trying to get payment on a bankwire since 12/3/08. I've heard that the wire is on the way, they're very busy because of the holiday, the banks are closed for 2weeks because of xmas, they had an earthquake in Costra Rica, the company issuing the bankwire was raided by the feds,the money will be refunded back to your account tomorrow, oh we made a mistake it wasn't your account and lastly ....call us next week. I have received some payments from them, but this one is like pulling teeth. Also don't like the idea that you can only view your activities for 7days. Go with The Greek, A+ Sportsbook. I've been a client for years. Their deposit methods are wonderful and your money is in your account quickly. As far as withdrawls go I can't help you. I've never been fortunate enough to be able to request a withdrawl.

Slow or no payouts is not the only BetUs Issue. Signed up last year because they allow you to buy points against the spreads. Used a promo code that an NBA system capper recommended in order to get extra bonus, etc. Turns out, I catch them red handed giving me modified spreads to offset the strategy I was wagering under. Even had other friends check their spreads vs. the ones I was getting after logging in... Typically, I was getting a 1 point adjustment each and every time.. Called and spoke to a CS manager who denied they were doing it.. Needless to say I dumped them ASAP.. Later, I found out that the capper was getting not only affiliate commissions for clients signing up under his promo code, but was also getting commissions from clients losses as well.
Now have accounts with BetJam, Greek and Bookmaker with no regrets...Comment -
Also recently found out at another popular forum that BetUs and Bodog purportedly have some type of algorithym built into their systems that analyze your wagering patterns and adjust their spreads accordingly to enhance the house odds... As stated many times above, stick with the A rated books from SBR... Otherwise, BUYER BEWARE....Comment -
I'd play at Betus when they had Netteller, *******, and all the other good stuff for processing payout quickly. Even with all that payout option, they were impossible to cashout from.Comment
