Is there a chance yes. But there needs to be a reason for the fix. If they wanted a SO to show off the game, then the game needed to be shown on national tv in the states, not Versus, which the casual fan probably doesn't even know about.

I doubt a fix when it comes to the gambling side of it but it wouldn't surprise me that it ended the way it did with the NHL doing anything they can to garner attention and viewership. Overall verdict though would be "Not Guilty"

On a side note, did anyone else notice how completely uninterested the crowd was the whole game?

It's not exactly excited hockey. The speed is so slow, and while there is tremendous skill there is no emotion. I barely watched any of it.
