Why do people waste time/money going to or watching preseason NFL

Betting on it is one thing but I laugh at the morons who waste money to go to NFL preseason games or spend their time watching them on TV. Like the knuckleheads around here who pay over $100 for a preseason ticket for Cowboys games and pay $40 to park and then get all decked out in their jerseys/face paint and Cowboys gear for a game that doesn't matter and where the starters don't even play.

Its an event. Watching football is fun. For everyone that feels the pain being deprived of it over the last 6 months look forward to it returning. Preseason football also presents for good opportunities to get some pretty nice angles to move off of. Nothing better then betting a game and then going to it. I don't care what game it is preseason or not.

After watching garbage sports for months, most people are just happy to see the most popular sport (US) no matter the cost. You only can take so much A-Rod and Dwight Howard drama...before it's time for pad popping

I would not pay to see preseason ball but I like to watch. First chance to see the rookies & offseason pickups. As a broncos fan its the only chance I get to see Brock Osweiler get some snaps (hopefully).
