I am a D-back homer and it appears to be a bad spot.

My issue is I think Lester and the Bosox are too cheap for this situation.

I may be breaking gambling 101 never wager on a team you have emotional connection with.

    Thoughts?

it's not unusual. MLB teams often have long road trips.

Yes, of course. That's what a road trip is. They don't play back to back series in the same place on the road (well, very rarely. It has happened a few times with interleague play, where they schedule a trip to NYY/NYM or to CHW/CHC).

If you want, I can find you numerous examples every year of road trips lasting 3+ series.

Maybe I am not wording it right.

In the NBA they will schedule b2b2b all in different cities (last years shortened schedule)

In bases they play a series 2-4 games.

D-back have played in Tampa weds, Texas thurs and now Boston friday.

I am sure it happens occasionally with make up games sandwiched on day offs but it has to be uncommon.

This is what I am talking about.

Line is building steam but I really fear this started much too cheap for this situation.

I am making Dbacks a play

I know Lester is a shell of himself but he was a -270 fave last time snakes came to town.

Pretty common that teams take three team (cities) road trips.

He's asking when does a team play in 3 different cities in 3 consecutive days. I don't know if I can think of another time off the top of my head.

Saw that on Monday when I looked ahead at the schedule for the week. Fading them and chasing losses until they get back to Phoenix, mostly using the -1RL. When the do get home its another 2game series w/ TampaBay.

That's very rare, to make up a game on an off day for basically a one game series in between two other series, in three different places.

You're right, I didn't even realize it was happening.

Man I don't care for Delgaldo...and he has won 3 straight.

Line should be stiffer I think ...Eaton out

                              I'm taking a stab regardless

I bet it happens at least once and maybe a couple times a year.

when you got to redo those rain outs, you only have so many off days to pick from, and they are often a travel day on a long road trip.
