Old school way
Good way to get pushes instead of losing -1.5 lines.
I tried one today with Cincy laying the run

Yes, I think its a good strategy for big moneyline favorites. So you aren't paying a ton of juice, and don't get fuked when the closer gives up a few in the 9th and they only win by 1.

I wouldn't recommend it. The price difference between -1 and -1.5 is too big and the favs simply don't win by 1 run enough to make it worth it in the long run.

I will play away teams at -1 and I hunt for dogs to reverse them at -1 in the right situation.

Great for those of us that do labby lines. You want as close to even odds as you can so the math comes out clean, and keeping your losses as infrequent as possible is good everywhere, but especially when you're running labby lines.
