Vivamacau (Not Rated) is part of the Mongha Meida group and opened it's doors in June, 2008. They do offer Neteller and Moneybookers as payment solutions, however they don't accept U.S. players.

Here is the press release on vivamacau
Mong Ha Media has announced the launch of its new online casino,
www.vivamacau.com. Viva Macau features three separate product lines that allow
its customers to play casino games, take sportsbook action and connect to a
network with thousands of poker players from around the world.

    MACAU, China, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Viva Macau's site
( http://www.vivamacau.com ) incorporates cutting edge technology and superior
theme design. Supplemented by a management team with decades of experience in
some of the most tightly regulated gaming environments in the world, the
company is aiming to redefine the online gambling industry's concept of
    quality and service.
"Macau casinos...look out. We have closely monitored the success
experienced by our land-based competitors, such as the Venetian, Wynn and MGM
Grand, and realized it was only a matter of time before someone took the
experience right into the customer's home. That's what we are doing at Viva
Macau," says Sam Casteel, the company's public relations director.
Viva Macau's Sportsbook provides customers with a myriad of sports
wagering options. Sports enthusiasts can get action on their favorite events,
including international soccer, football, basketball, baseball, boxing,
    tennis, golf and more.
Thinking of taking sportsbook action while in Macau? Better bring a laptop
on the flight in. Macau sports betting is still largely inexistent at land-
based casinos, but sports fans will be flying high with Viva Macau's automated
bet ticket system. Customers can choose from a variety of combination wagers,
such as parlays, teasers, If-Wagers and Reverses. One happy punter reported,
"The 2008 Beijing Olympics lines are already up. Viva Macau had my ticket."
Viva Macau's Poker room will feature $1.4 million in freeroll poker
tournaments this year. Every day players can compete for entry into Aussie
Millions, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, and other popular land based events.
The poker software incorporates a comprehensive set of utilities to reduce
fraud and collusion, so customers can rest assured that they are safe playing
in the online environment. Macau casinos are only just realizing the potential
of Texas Hold'em and other popular poker games. "Macau poker is not a fully
developed market...but we are bringing it to the East full steam," says
    Casteel.
Viva Macau's Casino features over 50 different games. Customers can play
slot machines, video poker, keno and popular table games such as blackjack,
baccarat, craps, roulette, pai gow poker, Caribbean stud and more. To play for
fun, there is no download or registration required, and customers can play as
often as they like. This is a great way to get primed for a trip to Macau.
Macau is a city of exceptions, exclusions, incongruities and
contradictions. In keeping with that tradition, the site exemplifies the
confluence of East and West that is Macau. 'Viva Macau' has long been a
celebratory toast made by the residents of Macau. According to casino giant
Stanley Ho, he roughly translates the term into 'Long-Live Macau' or 'Alive
Macau.' Ho's dream is being realized at vivamacau.com.
Before taking a trip to Macau, Live it Online first at
    http://www.vivamacau.com .
    About Us
Viva Macau's suite of products brings the most popular gaming options on
the web together under one roof. One account provides customers with access to
sportsbook action, casino games and a global poker network with thousands of
    players.

This book is currently upgrading their system and will be contacting customers(like myself) that registered an account with them.
The site is easy to use and the Customer Service is good.
I'll just wait for an update from them.

I somehow managed to get stuck with a €6000+ balance in here and now their website is offline and emails I send to either their customer support or their accounting department can't be delivered (Delivery Status Failure). Could someone please give me some advise on steps I could take to still get my money?

Sorry to hear that Michael. Does complaining here actually work? I have complained once in the past and got a reply after over a month. Luckily that situation solved itself.

Viva Macau was never really stable, so it could be that their servers crashed. Could this also cause their email addresses to be disabled or is the only logical explaination that they closed shop and are enjoying our money on a tropical island?

Unfortunately, in the offshore world, a complaint to SBR is only as likely to succeed as the willingness and ability ($$) of the book to maintain / improve their reputation. That said, you lose nothing by complaining, and can warn others not to deposit at certain books.

I don't know if a server crash would cause e-mail to bounce back but, for players' sakes, I hope so.

Well I'm still clinging to the hope that they've had a complete server crash, as thier site has been completely unstable and full of bugs for weeks.
I have had some success from complaining on here before but it was on a slow pay issue from a book that was still online.
Not sure if it will achieve anything but I have also complained to the Kahnawake Gaming commision where the site is registered.

I have also complained at the Kahnawake gaming commission yesterday, but haven't heard back from them yet. How is the Kahnawake gaming commission usually in dealing with issues like this? Michael, would you mind sending me a pm if you get a response from them?

Hello to everyone. I asked info to Betbrain, and unfortunately they told me that Vivamacau went bankrupt. They also suggested to contact Vivamacau in order to get back the money. Well, now, do you have any idea about how to contact Vivamacu?

    That doesn't sound good.

Does Betbrain have any contact info? Or Moneybookers (as they were advertising them, I believe)? Otherwise, I would probably focus my efforts on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, as other posters have mentioned - at least they should be able to tell you for sure whether Viva Macau are really bankrupt, and perhaps help you recover funds (if there are any).

Hi,All signs point that vivamacau went bankrupt except one(for me),I made a withdrawal (2000 euros),one day before they went offline (in a hours via Mb) .I really hope that they are still "in the game",because I have really big balance there.

Actually it's strange that they process withdrawals even one day before to go offline, if they really went bankrupt. I hope well. We'll see. In the meanwhile, I will continue to look for another method to contact them.

I haven't heard back from either the Kahnawake Gaming commission or SBR. I also contacted the Merge poker network and they told me they were looking into it and they will contact me when they know more. Anyone tried to call them on the numbers listed on casino city?

Has anyone had any progress in retrieving their funds?

I have been in contact with the gaming commission for a number of months but it seems like they are giving up on me as I have my funds in the sportsbook.

This is what I received from them:

I apologize for the delay in updating you on VivaMacau. We have been communicating with MergeGaming and investigating the situation. MergeGaming holds a Kahnawake Gaming Commission Client Provider Authorization ('CPA') license for the MergeGaming Poker software. As such the Poker offered by VivaMacau is licensed under MergeGaming's CPA.

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission does not regulate the other products that were offered by VivaMacau. When MergeGaming informed us they would honor any debts owed to players by VivaMacau, they were referring only to the MergeGaming Poker software.

Consequently we are not able to assist you if the funds owed to you were for Sportsbook or casino or any products other than Poker. We have asked MergeGaming to contact the Sportsbook and casino software provider on your behalf. I am sorrye we were not able to assist you and apologize for the inconvenience.

Does anyone have any advice for other avenues to go down to retrieve my funds? I have a substantial amount in there.

    Any help much appreciated.
