Not need to. Nicky Santoro is the handicapper of the year for his infamous God pick for the Eagles which he didn't bet after the game was started and hedged in the 3rd quarter.

He's the handicapper of the year for winning the team contest by himself. It goes to show you why there's always two sides to every line. For every stock that's sold there's a buyer. Somebody thinks it's going up, somebody thinks it's going down.

Ah yes...The team contest who bet 5+ points stale lines and made 20X more bets than other teams.

But when he had to made a pick before a game started with live lines he chose God and had to hedge in the middle of the game for a non-played pick.

That might happen in like one out of a hundred games.

We've already discussed what the advantage of stale lines is (it's virtually nothing for a contest):

lol no offense to Nicky but I really think that Pavy would bury him in a contest. I havent seen either post a lot of plays but Pavy's have been pretty solid for the most part. I wouldn't vote Nicky or Pavy for capper of the year though. Always somebody else out there that nobody is talking about

One of them gets plays from God and the other makes plays like this:

There are better cappers on this board than either of them, imho.

Anyway, machine choice looks like he could beat Nicky or pavy.

Close a thread discussing who the best capper is on a handicapping forum. That makes sense.
