oh i hear ya.. top 3 hitters for the Yankees can hit but thats about it.

This Rays team has a record of
22-10 or something similar agaist LHP.

I was so looking forward to Archer vs Cheeseburger today! However the postponed game cause the schedule shift. I'm with hellboy today though, cheeseburger hasn't pitched good and even when he did he didn't get any run support! TB is SWINGING the boom stick and hellboy is hot! On Rays +100, seems like a pretty straightforward one to me. Some pitching stats for Hellickson and CC vs active batters for both teams (Hellickson career and CC from 2008):

Hellickson vs Yanks

PA: 70 BA: .238 OBP: .314 SLG: .413 OTS: .130

Sabathia vs Rays

PA: 318 BA: .270 OBP: .344 SLG: .480 OTS: .165

CC really struggles vs the Rays, plus Rays are pounding lefties this year:

BA: .288 OBP: .349 SLG: .437 OTS: .153

Plus all batting comparison seems to favor the Rays as well:

Yankees OBP isn't bad, but they have literally no power this year or recently. Maybe Soriano can help if he's in, but I doubt he can help significantly. CC struggling recently and really not himself at all this season isn't going to help either.

Only area I think the Yanks have the advantage in is possibly bullpen, but that's really it.

Forget all of last years stats. this year yankees are a complete diff team, this year sabathia has an era over 7 against tampa bay, this year tampa is red fukin hot, Crushing lefties like cake..... this shit is a no brainer man. There is NO reason to take the yankees.
