I honestly think Bradford returned for another year of college life because of not wanting to be drafted by your crumby Lions.

Point taken. I would not pick QB out of this draft. All sketchy. Lions should draft OT first and then focus on D. LB especially.

The guy they will take is Stafford. The guy they should take is Sanchez.

Smith, and it's a no-brainer.

They take a QB they will be back in the same situation they are currently. Stafford is mediocre at best. Culpepper is better off. Stafford will be ruined like Harrington.

Smith no brainer as stated above, why get some skilled player hurt or put him in a situation where he loses all his confidence?

lol. Did we just not see 2 rookie QBs turn aound a franchise? Flacco and Ryan. Tell me again why the Lions should take a OLineman over a franchise QB.

Because they are shit, and green shit at that, they have to flush their systems out for the next 4 to 5 years. Stafford or Sanchez will be hurt or confidence shot by then.

Can you honestly tell me you thought Matt Ryan would do what he did this year and take the Falcons to the playoffs? If you say yes, you are a fvckin liar.

Why not stick with the WR route. I'd take Crabtree

they should take Stafford IMO. I dont know why so many dont think he will be an NFL QB.
he has all the tools, deadly accuracy with the deep ball, arm strength, pocket passer, and makes good decisions for the most part.
Now I cant compare him to Sanchez cause I havent watched Sanchez in every game over the past 3 years. But what I have seen of Sanchez is not on the same level as Stafford.

I hear ya, mmike. But Stafford was no where near the level of Bradford. He is nowhere near the level of Sanchez. Sanchez is not the next Leinart...he is the next Carson Palmer. You got to take him.

Lions have decent arms arleady. They need to focus on the trenches and work from lines out. Next will be LB's, Secondary, QB.

Crabtree. 5 WR's in the top ten. Love it.

Qb's fare the best when the team is at least mediocre to start with. Like some previously have said Smith would be the best pick.

No, but the Falcons already had Norwood at RB and a running scheme that goes back the last 6 to 8 years and is effective. They already had a pass rusher and sack artist in Abraham. The only piece that Detroit has is Calvin Johnson because they have lost the other receivers. Start with the foundation like any other part of life, but No I didnt think Ryan would be this good and no I didnt think Ryan Leaf would be that bad and no I dint think Matt Lienhart would be on the bench this deep in his career and no I didnt think Vince Young would get benched for Kerry Collins.

Crabtree.
Why mess with tradition.
But seriously, they need defense.... plus there's no QB that's worth the top pick this season. Wait til next season for that.
Any of these guys would immediately improve that horrid defense: Aaron Curry, Brian Cushing, Malcolm Jenkins and Rey Maualuga.

I would draft smith #1 and trade the 1st rounder you got for Dallas for Matt Cassel.

Thats the point. Look the Steelers got Big Ben in the 11 slot behind 2 other QB's( Eli Manning and Phillip Rivers). How has that turned out? The Lions HAVE to take a QB here. No choice. If they take an OLineman, they should never be allowed to play in the NFL again.
