go back and read some of the SBR threads posted when the opened up through 2007....

the only topics used to be straight up offshore books, ratings, industry news, payout info, ect....

then more just sports related stuff started popping up, and then in-game threads ect....some silly stuff, a vid here and there by JJ..

now a days 4% of players talk is about the industry, 17% is sports, 19% is politics...

the rest is shit that guys like five teamer, Me, Rogue, casper ect ect post that really has nothing to do with anything..... you barely know its a gambling board...

but hey i'm not complaining...but if you wanna change it, ban guys like me.... I really have nothing positive to contribute lol..

I am getting settled in and learning the do's and dont's at SBR. I am sure the mods here will do what is needed to assure fun for all. As for me, I don't want to step on any toes and I need to see what the posters & mods here like and do not like. I am seeking to understand SOP's currently. The other mods have been great in assisting me around the house, showing me the way so far. I have only been on the gig for a couple days. Glad you brought it up though. When did things turn and what do you suppose caused the change, Gold? Give me a history lesson if you will.

Agree. I've gone into semi-retirement on posting here. It's become a haven for unemployed 18-23 year olds....and with all the "gay" man posts it's become less enjoyable out here. Who knows, maybe down the road things will change. Forums are always morphing and changing, they tend to take on a life of their own.

Players Talk is usually used as a gossip forum. If everyone would stick to the sports forums for their picks and discussions, then things would be fine. There is no need to post picks in the Players Talk forum. Leave it for the gossip.

Mods are suppose to move sports related talk to the right sports forums, or slink it. But some of it gets over looked.

Part of the side show? I'm not taking capping any less seriously... in case you haven't noticed, football season has kinda sorta come to a close. I've never capped basketball and whenever I do a write-up on hockey it gets all of 6 views. Come baseball season and next football season, you'll still be seeing plenty out of me. I've done videos capping every playoff game, I can't cap thin air

All I try and do is lighten up the board a little when I make my comedy videos. I think that videos and posts where we get to know posters better and stuff that is light-hearted and fun definitely has a place on the forum, it gives the place personality.

The posts and threads that are made for the sole purpose of harassing other posters or spreading hate, those are the ones that I don't like.
