#37Tsoprano was the best bookie I have ever had. Prompt payments and great stale lines. It was like being Christmas and Hanukkah every day.Originally posted by flyingilliniI'd rather use Tsoprano and Bobby the HenchmanComment -

#38Actually, they kind of were a type of pioneer... too skin out a site for mainstream post up and run a service with a couple CSD/Sales guys and one guy out front heavily marketing guys via emails and a forum with no infrastructure and all service being offered by a third party. It is actually a fairly sound business model for reduced overhead if it has the backing and a decent GM booking responsibly in my opinion.Originally posted by I/ODoes BI get considered as one of the pioneers?Comment -

#40Agreed JJ... it was a hammering beyond hammerings. Surprised it went as far as it did. That last part I meant it is a model that is possible with backing and a responsible manager that would not give away the house.Originally posted by jjgoldIt had no backing Son..they gambled..gave away the store in hoping people would lose

Tsoprano always paid me on time. I did get threats from Bobby if he saw i was manipulating lines.המוסד

#47what about sbgglobal??????????
Originally posted by jjgoldThe Pinny, Greek, types did leave US Market but still around, SIA and BoDog have some restrictions for USA players but doing well. Carib, Intertops, First Fidelity Group, Jazz Books, BetUS, Bookmaker, 5 Dimes, Heritage still around and solid. Sportbet stil there as is Sportsbook.com. I might be missing a few ..I know WSEX was a pioneer and went bust. I guess they get it and know how to run a book. Through the years so many smaller tier shops went bust, some smaller tier places do well but under the radar.Comment -

#55GGI Sports was full of great ideas and my people worked with me for it until the very end, what happene is how the industry changes and how it goes back to the basics, PPH thriving all over the place, not the post up anymore...Comment -
