    November Nine
    1 Sylvain Loosli France 19,600,000
    2 Michiel Brummelhuis Netherlands 11,275,000
    3 Mark Newhouse USA 7,350,000
    4 Ryan Riess USA 25,875,000
    5 Amir Lehavot Israel 29,700,000
    6 Marc McLaughlin Canada 26,525,000
    7 JC Tran USA 38,000,000
    8 David Benefield USA 6,375,000
    9 Jay Farber USA 25,975,000

JC Tran owned everyone from 27 to the final table and when he wasn't he was getting hit in the face with the deck.He is going to be tough as chip leader.Carlos Mortenson bubbled the final table but this is a pretty great N9.Just would have been better with a former main event champ in Mortenson.

For those who don't know names well, who are the well known names?

JC Tran is probably the only well known name.He has multiple WS bracelets and kills the cash games in California.Over 8.5 mill in live earnings plus he won the WCOOP main event on Poker Stars which was a million or 2.

D Benefield is an online guy nicknamed Raptor.Probably best known because he and Tom Dwan(Durrrrrrr) were friends and room mates before they both became big time.Dwan moreso but Raptor pretty good in his own right just not the nose bleed stakes Durrr plays.

Amir Lehovat is a bracelet winner already winning the 10k PLHE in 2011.

Mark Newhouse won a WPT event at Borgata for about 1.5 M.

Mark Mclaughlin- This is his 3rd deep run in the main event the last 5 years.Made top 100 in all 3 which is pretty crazy when you consider they have over 6,000 runners at the least.

Brummelhuis is an online guy too that won a WCOOP on Poker Stars and made some big final tables .One at the WSOP.

                      From Wicked Chops Poker:

The spectacularly-breasted JC Tran leads the 2013 WSOP November Nine.

The 2013 WSOP Main Event ended up with a solid November Nine.
But the bigger story, like last year, is who barely missed out.
Inarguably the biggest name remaining in the field on Day 7 was 2001 champ Carlos Mortensen. Viewed by many of his peers as the best no limit hold’em tournament player of all-time, Mortensen was the clear potential headliner for the November Nine final table. He fell just short. Mortensen was eliminated in 10th place by the spectacularly-breasted JC Tran, earning $573,204.
Speaking of the spectacularly-breasted JC Tran, the spectacularly-breasted JC Tran will enter final table play as the chip leader, stacked at 38,000,000. If Mortensen is among the 1-3 best no limit tourney players in the world, Tran is among the top 20. He is the WPT Season V Player of the Year and has two WSOP bracelets to his credit.
Tran is followed by another bracelet winner, Amir Lehavot, with 29,700,000.
Here is the rest of the final table make-up, including why you may care about each one:
                      • Marc McLaughlin (26,525,000) – He’s French Canadian (a-hem), a pro with $1.4M in career live earnings, and has made the top 100 now in three of the past five WSOP Main Event.
                      • Jay Farber (25,975,000) – Inked up Vegas VIP host who will bring a rail of Spearmint-Rhino girls with him to the final table (not kidding, they railed him before their shift began on Monday). Rumored to be staked by Dan Bilzerian. Follow his Twitter here.
                      • Ryan Riess (25,875,000) – Circuit grinder with over $300,000 in earnings and a good nickname (“Riess the Beast”).
                      • Sylvain Loosli (19,600,000) – Ummmm. Uhhhhh. He’s French?
                      • Michiel Brummelhuis (11,275,000) – Hailing from Amsterdam, he’s won a WCOOP event, has a WSOP final table to his credit, as well as around $1.4M in career earnings.
                      • Mark Newhouse (7,350,000) – A past WPT champ, “Newhizzle” is rumored to need to win the event to get out of make-up. Also rumored to be staked by Chino Rheem. Has a Stiles from Teen Wolf vibe going.
                      • David Benefield (6,375,000) – Online superstar known as “Raptor,” rumored to be backed by Tom Dwan.

And there you have it. Some legit pros, only maybe two real “amateurs,” and an excuse thanks to JC Tran to post a lot of big breasted women pics if you’re into that.

We’re still “digesting” the final table, but will have our annual “Good, Bad, and Meh” for poker up by the end of the week.

                                    Hey Mike,

                                    How did Greg Merson do?

I have known this kid since he was 7 or 8.

Coached him a couple of years and know his dad well.

I love how the door opens on the other side after he runs through it. Seriously, that has gotta hurt so bad.

                                                  How did Greg Merson do?

I have known this kid since he was 7 or 8.

Coached him a couple of years and know his dad well.
He did pretty good considering he had a giant bulls eye on his back.He made it to day 5.He was on fire in 2012 the whole summer and you just knew it was his to lose well before the final table. He was playing flawless.

Would be interesting to see how he would fare against this murderers row.

I don't think David Benefield is backed by anyone, he is an instructor at cardrunners.com. So I would think he put up the 10K himself
