Excellence- 5-star all inclusive hotel. It used to be run by Secrets a few years ago and turned over and its amazing. My ex and I went there for a 5 nights back in May 2007 and it was amazing. Bars are open 21 hours a day, full room service including alcohol, NO KIDS ADULTS ONLY but not one of those where old guys have there dongs swinging out half the day. Staff is excellent and its not too expensive.

I don't know how much more it is now that it has got a bit more popular but that place was incredible.

That's a fair rate for a week. Another good one I've recently heard of is San Andres, it's $700 all inclusive 5 days and 4 nights including the plane ticket from either Panama or Costa Rica, 4 stars hotel. I've been told that it's an awesome place to go partying, if I'm ever able to have at least 1 week of vacations I might probably go there, good references coming from my friends.

And you should've gone to David, Panama during September, crazy partying by then! It's 3 weeks you spend most of your day drunk, and, the best of all is that you spend like 10 bucks to achieve that goal!

I used to go to Vegas for Spring Break because it coincided with the first two days of March Madness. We'd get our seats in the sportsbook around 8am and not budge until midnight, getting free drinks (+ tip) ALL DAY LONG.

But you're with a girl, so that option is out. I had never been to Hawaii until two years ago. I've been three times since. Highly recommend. Stay at a hotel on the beach in Waikiki though. Being on the beach vs. off makes a difference. Hilton Hawaiian Village is a great option. If you don't want to do Oahu (Honolulu), I'd recommend Kauai. There are direct flights there from the west coast, or you could fly from Honolulu. Get a condo instead of a hotel...much cheaper and furnished with everything you need. We stayed in #415. From the balcony you can see sea turtles and sometimes whales. The sound from the ocean at night is something that's worth going back for by itself. If you really need night life though, stick with Waikiki on Oahu. Drink the local beer, Kona, while you're there. Avoid Maui...way too crowded, especially during Spring Break. Kauai is the least crowded. Not many people know about it. There's great sights and restaurants on Kauai. Wow, I just wrote way too much.

Oh, and stay away from those non-US locations people are recommending. The last time I went on Spring Break outside the US, I spent two nights in jail in Rocky Point, Mexico.

Save your money for a down payment on a lavish and beautiful house. And if you must spend I suggest spending w/in the country. FL is cheap, Texas is nice, Cali is nice. Also, think about non-beach destinations, if you like outdoor activities fly to Vegas, rent a car and spend 3 nights at the Canyon, 3 at Zion/Bryce, and of course 3 in Vegas.

I myself will be attending a wedding in Savannah GA and I'm excited, never been.

I mean its the same if you go to Baltimore or DCll if you don't know Baltimore or DC there you can come up missing easy but not as easily as central america and police there are often part of the robbery/ scheme

my gf's sister basically just backpacks all over central america. and she is a tiny girl, she lives in villages. I don't really know what she does there, she blogs and shit. It's safe if you know what you are doing. She brings back the best coffee, though.

Cancun was the best 10-15 years ago for college kids. Nice beaches, short cheap flights, and whole place is breakers. I think we stayed at the Oasis.

That's funny.. I also went to Kauai on my honeymoon and stayed at Kuhio Shores. Found it to be really great value. Kauai is an amazing place. Took a helicopter ride to check out Waimea Canyon-- one of the coolest things I've ever done-- crazy thing was that one of the same helicopter tour's helicopters crashed later that day.
