Cleveland Cavaliers @ Portland Trail Blazers

Currently this game's a pick at bookmaker/cris so we'll go with that line. Who do you like?

This is the most baffling line I've seen in a while. Cleveland will be without 2 starters (West and Ilgauskas) and Portland will be without Blake.

If this was was on a neutral court I might understand the pick line. Vegas has it Cleveland -1 (that screams trap, imho). But, Cleveland's 11-8 on the road and Portland's 15-4 at home. Cleveland didn't look good in the second half against the Lakers.

Cleveland's won seven of the last nine meetings between the teams and both last season. However, I think the Blazers are much better and more consistent this year than they've been in the past.

I think Cleveland will have to play a nearly perfect game to win this one. Of course King James is capable of that but he doesn't do it that often on the road. I'm leaning towards Portland here. Any thoughts?

Looks like a trap line of some sort. I think without a big man present thats where the Cavs have a down fall. I would imagine if you hop on the line early for Clev it will move to -2 or -2.5 before the game

Loss to NO -> against Dal on the road won by 19 pts
Loss to Det -> win at home against ATL by 14 pts
Loss to ATL -> win on the road against Min by 23 pts
Loss to Mia -> win at home against CHI by 25 pts
Loss to Was -> win at home vs Char by 30 pts
Loss to Chi -> win at home vs noh by 14 pts
Loss to Lak -> ?? on the road against Por by ??

backup to blake are 3rd yr rodriguez and rookie bayless. backup to roy is rookie fernandez, center oden, rookie. starting small forward is rookie batum.

the question that nobody can answer is how bad does LJ wants the win on the road, coz it can mean a highlight like the one yao got. A block featured in the top plays of the day

the problem is their coach is dumb and will do poorly on their rotation. same thing with what byron scott did. sergio and rudy plays as a team. maybe after all star, the bond of roy and rudy will be better, roy plans to be the one to pass the ball on the spaniard at dunking contest.

i dont think cleve is much better than a 500 road team whereas port is a 750 home team
