#5Is it safe?? I think things can go wrong in places llike this even with celebs there. It's best to play at legal places.Comment -

#8I can see Sweeper in these places. He has that look that nobody would fuk with him. Patty would be a target, I would be. If you win like 50k I would think there would be an eye on you. Sweep let me know if you go.Comment -

#9you are the biggest fraud here. a kid like you who cant drink like a man, is going to sit down and play poker with stars. buy in for those games is probably 10 k the only thing you are doing at that game is being a good waitress and bringing them cigars and drinks.
cmon guy stop with the stories its really getting pathetic now
cmon waiting for the gay comeback because thats all you can sayComment -

#11It's safe until the game gets busted; latest game was busted in NYC early this year. Lose all your money and go to lockup; not fun.Comment -

#15Is this the one where one guy is the host, he needs to find a new place, and he also has to chase down the fish for owing him money? Or did they do another one?Comment -

#16Those places were big in the 90s and 00s, but now with PA, NY, NJ, CT and DE all having poker, they are not a necessary risk.Comment -

#18"Underground" games cater to the degen...not just in New York. Some allow players to play off credit. No legal place is going to allow for that. A bad player can get over his/her head pretty fast.Comment -

#20I was in a place in Texas that got raided by county sheriffs and SWAT. The organizers did time. Players got carted directly to the courthouse at midnight and had the option to plead guilty to disorderly conduct, pay a $400 fine and be done with it or plead not guilty and face potential other charges. I got off on a technicality and just lost my table stakes and a 6 pack.Comment -
