I find myself when I have action on games when I go out with people I become a total social retard. When I go to the bar as a large group everyone sits at the same table and chats, I head off on my own, find a bar stool and watch games, watching tickers at bottom. When I am out with my girl she is fascinated that i know the scores of games on cue when she asks. "So how did the Pistons do?" Ugh well dear they lost by 8, 88-80. "How did you know that? Gambling again?" Uh nope just watched sportscenter.

I need to step away for a while.

gambling is very bad cause it makes you very anti social. if i go out with friends and we are all at restaurant talking, every 3 minutes i take out phone and start checking scores. sometimes i can do this 23 times during 1 meal.. and everyone hates it, and i dont blame em. we can be in a great conversation,.. and they say, what you doin now, and they get mad.. this is very rude.

then they say, you wanna all go to a strip? and i'd say, naahhh, i'm going home, just because i am not doing good and in a bad mood, or i want to go home and put in late night bet or just want to be alone cause it's a bad night. when i am losing, i am bad company and not talking.. and when i am winning, i am happy and start talking with everyone. Usually if it's a big night, habs on tv, 32 bets and lots of games on, and they call me to go out, i always say NO.. always find an excuse.

gambling is horrible, and it's not just the money, but it's the disease that's bad. IT REALLY CONTROLS YOUR LIFE.
