If you just signed up for the Forum, how do you know we dont talk horses. There were at least 5 horse threads in the last 2 days. Alot of every day horse players in here. Whats your hometown track? Who is your favorite all time horse? Who is your favorite jockey?

Basically, it takes longer to lose a bankroll betting sports. Horses are good for a quick score.

Dude maybe you can answer me a question, in the UK when a horse is headed after leading many times, they fight back and sometimes get back up, what I have noticed watching US racing is that when the leader is headed it normally empties real quick and once headed is beat. Why is that? Do they go too fast?

I bet horses quite a bit. I think the reason I don't write more threads about horse racing, is that even though I have been reading the Daily Racing Form for 15 years now, I still suck at capping horses. Every thie I give an opinion on a race when I have money on it, it loses. When I am mind betting or have nothing on the race and I am at the track, my picks are winners. I even went as far as having someone else put the bets in for me one time at the Meadowlands because I thought I was jinxed. Suffice to say, I still lost. Don't get me wrong, I have had winning sessions, but they are so few and far between.

Correct, anybody who sets a fast pace on the turf is a fool. And I believe most all UK racing is on the turf.
