    NFL-defenes wins games
just a tip from your friend Arch

second to defense is running the football

passing is needed least to win in the nfl

offense is secondary to a defense in winning

and a good D beats a good O more times then not....

    God Bless

Steelers should be leading by double digits in the 1st half. Going away by more in the 2nd. One hit by Harrison on Warner, game is over. Defense wins championships transcends all sports. Look at the Spurs. look at the Celtics this year against the Lakers. What about Philly and their pitching. What about the Giants against the Pats, last Super Bowl. Defense kids. Steelers got it. Arizona dont. Steelers cover and win their 6th.

Yeah, but they still make them play the hoser Cardinals, kinda as a victory lap.

The Steelers will simply send Palomalu spearing his helmet up underneath Fitzgerald's chin strap early in the 1st quarter and that will be that.

first of all... Panic where the hell were you come game time...you started the fukin thread a week ahead of time, then you no-show?

seconly...i'll be fine if the steelers are down 7 or 10 at the half..

The Steelers staff/team adjusts at halftime..and the hard hitting takes its toll after 30 mins.

people that don't play or never played football underestimate how much hard hitting and physical play factors into a game...trust me no one is as good of a player after getting knocked on his ass so hard he sees stars for a few seconds... (except maybe big ben)

NO team in nfl history has shut down opposing teams 3rd quarter as the steelers have, compared to the rest of the league.

you are right, defense wins games does transcend sports Panic

So an all win situation for the Card fans, huh? Ummmmm, no. Sorry, buddy. They are gonna say the Cards are the play and they will win out right, they will get ridiculed appropriately.

Regardless as to who is playing in the Superbowl, I think the AFC is a step above the NFC. I'm trying to keep my head on straight and not let my love for the Steelers make me think they are going to crush AZ. Theres no doubt that Arizona is hot and has been playing some tough games with the defense finally stepping up. However, I'm hoping a powerful offense and so-so defense on the Cards side will result in a similar fashion to the Pittsburgh/San Diego game two weeks ago. Hopefully theres a lot of AZ backers out there and the line drops. I couldn't bet against the Steelers, so this will either be a Pitt bet or a no play.

I will take the #1 Rated Defense over the #4 Rated Offense any day of the week in the NFL. The fact that the AZ Cardinals are the #19 rated Defense is just gravy. Only the Lions, Rams, Broncos and Chiefs allowed more points this season than the Cardinals this year. One of those teams was the worst team in NFL History, the other 3 didn't even make the playoffs.
