Personally I would endorse The General. We can't all have pasts that are as squeaky clean as AK's.

For one thing, this forum can use any grown-up voice it can get IMO. For another thing, General has experience with dispute resolution - and, from what I see, SBR can use some help in that area. Things have gotten a bit choppy lately. Many of the people in Players Talk probably don't realize that dispute resolution is a bread-and-butter issue for SBR.

Some current mods worked for forums that endorsed crap books. No forum I have seen is up to SBR's standard in that regard. Anyone with experience will, by definition, have worked somewhere with lower standards.

I mean personally, I would hope the General would have better opportunities for himself and not want to do it. But if he does, he would be a great candidate.

Who is more experienced than The General to take the open mods job?? Most guys cannot handling being a mod, it is hard and you need a certain personality. I was a mod once and got banned for banning like 40 guys at MW in one day including an owner.
