Yes he's seriously my cousin. He's hit over .300 at every level and continued in the majors, not sure what reason the Mets have for not playing him. He can play everywhere, literally except catcher. They're platooning him versus lefties which is ok, but he's hit well versus righties also makes no sense to me.

Cashman did it with stubbornly saying Hughes is better, and always will be better than Ian Kennedy, just because Cashman has a hard on for fast ball hitters, when it is a known fact in the baseball industry that Phil Hughes is a head case, doesn't listen, and my Astro buddy says Phil Hughes has the worse work ethics in MLB.

Advanced scouts said Ian Kennedy is a "poor man's Greg Maddux' and will have by far the better career.
