What would the Rockets record be without McGrady and Artest?
What would the Rockets record be if McGrady and Artest were out for the whole season? I think they would be like the Heat of last year, one great player surrounded by second-rate role players and worse.

Without McGrady and Artest, they played one great game and almost beat the Lakers. They came down to earth and just played well enough to beat the so-so Heat.

I feel that tomorrow against the surging Denver Nuggets they'll come crashing down to earth. They will not be able to keep up with Denver's high-powered offense, imho. (They kept up with the Lakers offense but the Lakers aren't playing defense right now and I think that game was a fluke).

I'm not taking Denver in this game but I'll be looking to fade Houston without McGrady and Artest in the future.

    Any thoughts on this?

Aren't the Rocket's without McGrady anyway? That guy has a bigger puss than most porn stars. He's the only guys I know that can take off from work without a doctors excuse. I'm positive he has tampons in his locker.

IMHO, it's got to be late in an elimination game for that to be true. Otherwise, McGrady keeps the Rockets going. I've always thought that McGrady can get you deep into a first round series (game 6 or 7) then he disappears.

they would be the same as they are since McGrady and Artest play about once a week anyways.

That 22 game win streak without Yao Ming was one of the most amazing things in sports history, imho. McGrady's had plenty of regular season success. He fails in elimination games.

I'm not sure about taking Denver in this game, it will depend on the line movement and my own feeling.

I'll be looking to fade Houston without McGrady and Artest in the future though.

Come on Fearless... What did that mean in the Playoffs? Absolutely nothing. TMac is one of the biggest underachievers in the game of basketball. He didn't show up in Toronto, Orlando and now Houston. He's soft as cotton, has no heart like the tin man and is a locker room killer. Even Yao is getting on his azz as once again he needs 2 weeks to rehab. Why in hell didn't he rehab in the summer while everyone else was in the Olympics?

If Houston goes anywhere it will be in spite of McGrady. Artest is a huge addition and will help but don't look for TMac to lead the way. His track record is what it is.

I think they might be better without those two, especially if they could develop some kind of comfortable system centered around Yao. I wouldn't fade Houston if those two are shut down for the year, I might look to play on Houston, depending on market reaction.

Denver played a great game but Houston's offense continues to be amazing. I took Denver +3 and it was a fortunate win.

They are definitely better without McGrady. It must be HIS problem because every team he's been on hasn't made it out of the 1st round of the playoffs.
