Looking to buy a new notebook (a little Ausus netbook) and the one I'm looking at is pre-loaded with Linux? I know nothing about Linux....any opinions? Will I have a learning curve or is it straight forward and simple for a traditional Windows user? Thanks
Linux?

#5Actually those Linux Asus epeecees are pre configured, its point and click, same as windows, basically its an internet browsing machine.
It comes with Firefox, much better than ie.
In this case Linux will be just fine, and you won't have to worry about viruses.Comment -

#6People that have linux swear by it, my next laptop I am going to try and have windows and linux installed. Linus is much simplier but it is a whole new language to learn and harder than a MACComment -
