I have, more times than I'd like to admit.

    Today is a good example.

I rarely bet overs in NHL, somehow my brain though Kings/Stars over 5.5 was a solid play.

0-0 after 1 period but I could sense this game had little chance of going over the total about 5 minutes into the game, both teams are playing tight with no flow or scoring chances, they skate in over the blue line dump the puck in the corner and chase and after turning the puck over the other team does the exact same thing.

A lack of penalties so far hasn't helped my chances.

Some days it just goes like that.

I need 6 goals and it doesn't look good. Heck, I need 1 goal and it ain't happening.

When the other team returns the opening kick for a TD in an expected low scoring game I pretty much give up.

          Sports Gambling is like dating.

The first ten minutes or so, you feel as if you have a shot. Most of the time things ebb and flow where you feel confident one moment, and the next you are questioning everything you were thinking that brought you to this point. Every once in a while you score early and the game is yours before the beer gets warm. Other times, you are getting rejected and scoring less than Brain Scalabrine in a playoff game.

Umm, yeah, that'd be basically the last 10 times I've placed a bet.

It's a sick feeling. Like watching your NFL team get gashed for 11 yards a pop and surrendering 7 points in the first two minutes... then on your team's possession having them LOSE 8 yards and punt... Then the punt gets returned for a TD and your 6-point fave is already a loser! HATE IT!!!
