jj, you're a great coach, and a great motivator too.. now i know why they call you coach.. now here's the problem. the only good thing here is that you made me the go to man..i am a lifetime 68% shooter from the field, so when you ordered them to give me the ball at all times, you only played the percentages.. good job.
now the bad thing.. how do you expect us to win with this roster? Onner in the lineup will hurt us. he's 6'1, 118 lbs.. and he's young with no experience at all. then you got deuce who has no basketball experience at all, and also too young with no experience. he only plays hockey.. ( and so he says).. and here's the worst one. you make RJ the center? are you nuts, jj?? did you see his display this year at the batting cage? he swings like a girl and does 360's when he swings and almost falls on his ass.. he might very well be the worst athlete at sbr. we need to add size and strength inside and have posters who can take it to the hole easier.
this sbr team will end up with a losing season. we need to work on improving this roster.Comment -

you guys are lucky we are talking basketball here, cause if we had an SBR hockey team, holy cow, would we go 82-0 for sure or what?
nicky- center (ex hockey super star in the 80's)
Puckoff- star winger (great talented player right now)
Deuce- star winger (pro hockey player)
Fiveteamer- Defence (star quality hockey player)
Plommer- Defence (talented, but needs to lose a few lbs, but still good)
Goalie-- VegasDave- currently an ice hockey goalie
I'm sure i forgot one or two in the mix, sorry.
anyways, i will let you guys get back to talking basketball.. i dont want to steal JJ's thread.. but if we ever had a hockey team, we would win it all, including any other forum.. what a team we got.Comment -

Nicky, I'm one of the ones you forgot on your hockey team. I love FiveTeamer, but he's not built to play defense. All I've ever played is defense, I coached for four years so I can call plays on the ice, and I love to brawl so I'm your enforcer as well. Put me in, Coach!

Nicky I've never even touched a hockey stick or a puck. never been on skates either, hell I cant even roller skate. Only watched 1 hockey game in my life and that was during the goodwill games back in the early 90s and I was in the hospital loaded on Morphine.

Yeah Nicky, when I went to college in Oregon my first boyfriend was an ex-goalie who played Major junior hockey when he was younger. He even got to play one game in the crease for the Blackhawks when their top two net-minders were out with injury and the third came down sick. He introduced me to the game and bought me my first set of equipment.
I really took to hockey, it's far and away the most fun game I've ever played. He was already coaching midgets so I went to the officiating and coaching seminars with him and still have my USA Hockey card with Level 2 officiating and coaching endorsements. After college I lived in Portland and joined a Silver league at the local rink that happened to have a gay/bisexual team, and since we only had the minimum 14 players I got a lot of ice time to develop as a player.
Now I live two and a half hours from the nearest sheet of ice, but I miss hockey something fierce. Hearing you talk about an SBR team brought back a lot of fond memories. So even though I'm an American, don't underestimate the passion for hockey in Oregon and Washington. I got to experience it firsthand, and the devotion there is second only to Canada.

how are you between the pipes? are you a stand up goalie, or are you a butterfly style goalie? do you have a quick glove hand? what are your weaknesses, through the five hole? Do you cover your angles properly? do you like to come out of your crease, or do you like to stay in your crease a lot?
