Riddle me this. What is gayer than a "Professional" Painball League that is player owned? It's one thing to be a pro athlete if some owner is waving greenbacks in front of your face for your skills, but that's not the case here. Arena Football, a league with 20 years experience, couldn't put together a business model to generate a profit in these hard economic times, but yet 7-man paintball is supposed to be a bigger draw?

If they honestly do, then it's time for me to find a new country to reside in. I think going to watch a paintball match is even lower on the ladder of spectator sports than soccer, and that's saying a lot.

Psp - format designed for Xball that Dick Clark bought the rights to then later shelved due to his problems with health. Contract finally ran up and now there is debate if paintball should return to its 7man or 10 man format or stick with the xball format. To have a franchise spot in the NXL you needed to have 250k just to buy the spot. not including any other costs...
NPPL- Bankruptcy due to bad ownership. Controller was unable to keep the GM from stealing all the money and now its in bankruptcy court. NPPL was bought by Pacific Paintball LLC
RPO- Two want to be scammers trying to make there own league, includine the GM who above stole all the money from the NPPL...
USPL- the people running the NPPL before PP LLC bought it. 7man format. shoot the 7 guys b4 they shoot you hang the flag to get points to win the game!
so basically, if paintball was so crappy, which I'm not saying its for everyone or its a primetime sport or anything, but if there wasn't an oppurtunity there why did Dick Clark buy the rights and attempt to air the NXL on TV for multiple years, and create a format to get paintball onto TV?
So yes, Paintball sucks nobody has money and nobody makes money. I play for free I get a check and its a hobby I enjoy.Comment -

Good luck purecarnagge. Some people here have no other job than wish ill to others. I myself play indoor soccer on the weekends and I'm proud of it. I am 37 and there are not many sports I can be competitive right now. Living in a basement and typing on a forum is not a sport but some of the guys here think is considered competitive competing.

Thank goodness I don't claim to be an athlete then. I'm in good enough shape to split a cord of wood in a couple hours and hike around the hills with 100 pounds of water on my shoulders all day. I feel very fortunate to have a profession that keeps me outdoors and in shape where I don't have to play silly games to get my exercise.

at 2 minutes in you see some of the sponsors for the most successful team in paintball. Team Dynasty.
- Target symbol for aiming is smart parts
- pgi is a magazine
- Intel is the chip manufacture
- Badlandz is a field in IL that sponsors them even though they are in California
- Nxe is packs that hold the paint on there backs (think belts)
- JT another paintball company
- Actionvillage - online paintball retailer
- Rockstar (energy drink sponsors them)

Here a video of a guy I came up with...he was always better than me.
got on a plane in CA, got off the plane and was sent to the hospital where he died. Plane expidited its landing due to a medical condition.
When it was all said and done My buddy Jason died of a Anorisum or w/e. I totally ****ed the spelling up. He would have been fine had he not been flying, but the symptons were noticable until the flight was almost back home.

you know when you think about school. At school dodge ball is the only game you can throw a ball at someone with every intention of hurting them and get away with it. This is why I loved dodgeball in school as I grew up.
I know two guys that got to go to nationals to play Tekkan Tag the arcade game as well.
