I agree crustyme... Rockies are horrible against lefties and Stults is the closest they have to a number one pitcher. I think he comes out to make a statement and the Pads win this one. The Rockies are still a horrible and injured lineup too.. To me its a toss-up team-wise with the Pads having the better pitcher and at home..

Remember the idea of sunk cost... Just because a team is losing does not mean they will continue losing.

IMO the reason so many people are losing so much money is because they jump on the bandwagon late. A lot of times these teams take 10 losses and then go 6-4 all at +money

Also wanted to point out that despite their recent struggles, Padres, and the fact that they were due for a regression, they've been competitive past outings. It's not like they've been blown out the water. Some nights their pitching is on but couldn't muster enough runs. Other nights, like vs Strasburg and Co. they went off but pitching wasn't able to hold up ....

I just find it tough to bet against a team that's lost 10 straight at home. It's like we've missed the bus and are late getting on board.....

The padres losing streak is scary but that weak Rockie lineup is garbage. I like the Padres to pull it off in this one. Seattle is a great bet with a good pitcher going up versus sorry webster. Also my Dodgers will win again closing the gap for first. That offensive lineup is scary and Nolasco gets to show his new teammates his pitching skills.
