My fiance` and I stayed at the Hilton last night for business purposes. The toilet in our room was clogged and caused a mess as you would figure. Long story short, I sold the GM the next morning on the fact that we had been extremely inconvenienced and we felt some sort of compensation was warranted. He noticed that I was a high ranking member in their Hilton Rewards Program and voided our entire bill. About a $300 value.
This got me thinking...I wonder how many nights we could stay at a hotel for free based on complaints and unsatisfactory circumstances? Anyone else ever try this?
