ESPN generally does a shit job but...

[InTheDrink]

props to them for sharing this story (and spending 20 minutes of sunday night sportscenter on it)

http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/...322/why-stayed

its a little dusty in here

[MoneyLineDawg]

Just saw it on Sportscenter.......Very inspiring and one of the best sports doc stories I've seen

[WvGambler]

It was definitely good. Sportscenter did it right, by taking their time and showing it the way they did.

[easyliving]

too long of a read now. will take a look later

[TwoWays]

that was weak. where's the gang violence. where's the family abuse. where's lebron james.

[El Nino]

I just have something in my eye...

[Huckleberry Pig]

great story - thanks for sharing

[Swinging Johnson]

Not only was the story great it was wonderfully written. "I stayed because my heart was too heavy for my legs to walk away." Beautifully put.

[tto827]

Unbelievable story. All 3 of them are pretty damn special people.

So is drew stubbs working as a video gm designer or is he a full time dad?

[Louisvillekid1]

Best 20 minutes I've watched in quite sometime, if that doesn't tear you up something is seriously wrong with you...

[Smoke]

you would MUCH rather be a top 50ish guye than a guey who is trying to re-earn his card and not just because of the money

some of those gueyes who are just trying to stay afloat play 30 tournaments a year and every week they're sweating out whether they'll make the cut and when they do every single shot affects their season earnings even when they're fighting for 59th place so they're constantly grinding

not that it's the worst life by any stretch but to be a guye like charles howell 3 who generally finishes from 20-60 on the fed ex list, never really wins much at all and has nothing to worry about....thats a gueye who's got it made for being an average tour player
