His interview with Joe Rogan told the story, he was tired of it being so easy. He has probably been bored for some time. He is still the greatest UFC fighter ever and just got caught. Just when you thought UFC was the real deal it's like boxing now. Silva doesn't gain anything by beating this guy although he did lost out on a 200k bonus for a total payout of 800k. Wiseman only got 48k, lol 24k if he lost. Silva know the end is near at his age, a rematch would get him in the millions with all the white people all hyped up and more paying PPV to watch Silva get beat again.

Yes, Anderson went in with intention of losing, but instead of letting weidman choke him out, he got taken down thn spent a whole round resisting the submission, thn thought, oh ill let weidman knock me out and potentially break my jaw and give me permanent head trauma!

It's because people are stupid enough to think that Anderson doesn't "clown" people as a gameplan. He keeps his hands by his waist so that he can easily pummel for underhooks if his opponent shoots for a takedown, then uses his talk and hand gestures to try and bait his opponent into engaging him in a brawl, where he can use his head movement to dodge their wild shots and look for counter-punches. It's what he's always done. It was brilliant then, and it's brilliant now, but every tactic has its flaws, and Weidman took advantage.are people seriously this dumb? And who the hell is Wiseman?!

It feels like there's a half dozen people intelligent enough to see what actually transpired and a penetrate ton of idiots who can't see the trees for the forest. This is AFTER the fight, nevermind capping it before with creativity & imagination (read: matching up highlights vs highlights on dual screens).

Well even if you subscribe to that idea (which I partly do too), you have to admit that stuff was way overboard. He pretty much spent more time trying to amuse the crowd and belittle Weidman than ...well, actually set up things. I think part of it is also undermining Weidman and his striking skills. If I recall correctly, Vitor and Anderson had a real slow start to their fight too but Anderson didn't go all haywire with this stuff. I think part reason is because Vitor is known to hit pretty hard. I think it's twofold, it's strategic to do that but it's also undermining the other guy.
Not suggesting the fight was fixed, or that the fight ended like this because Anderson fooled around and paid the price. Not suggesting Anderson is gay either. Well, perhaps he is but that's besides the point.Comment -
