+145 seems out of whack here.

Little too much hype on the favorite just cuz Serena lost one match.
Radwanska OWNED this girl last match they played earlier in the year also.

I watch Men's way more than tennis for obvious reasons. But the price seems tasty to me here.

    Anyone else like this play/value??

    Shari?????? Vyom??

    You awake??

Gonna put a few bucks on it.

Yup bartoli and radwanska i think. Everone overlooking radwanska

Exactly. Running around yapping and hatin', but not a fkkin clue of the goddamn basics. Can't help these people tbh. They either want to learn, or don't. There's nothing in between.

I'm just glad Serena lost. Didn't mind her sister Venus but can't stand Serena.

          So true tbh
And it was really surprising. When Lisicki gave away the 2nd, I was absolutely sure her mindset was shaky again and you can count to 10 until she starts crying (like always). But not this time, this time she turned it around and played an impressing third. Good to see.

All the time. And I'm not kidding.

              It's absolutely embarassing...

Did you watch the interview after she beat Serena now? It was a joke.... I was ashamed while watching it...
If this girl wasn't such a lousy crybaby she could be twice the player she is now. (Same goes for our second German chick, Kerber...)

She's a headcase, hence my mentioning her emotional state earlier. Definitely not the most stable player around.

                    Yeah honestly man...

But as I said, I was impressed by the way she handled Serena, when she came back and won. This was a typical spot where she normally loses the next game against a weaker player, but not this time, she did it easily. Will be interesting to see how she handles Aggie "human wall" Radwanska today. If she gets frustrated, it's going to be hard.... But if she continues to play the way she did in this tourney, she wins it all. As long as her mother doesn't come on the court to calm her because she's crying I am okay with either outcome

Pretty sure she starts crying after (or during) it. And you'll feel like an ugly pedo... Not worth it

You do realize you saying 50/50 doesn't make the match a 50/50 proposition. Books are smarter than any of us and if the match-up truly was a toss-up, the price would reflect it. Vegas isn't stupid enough to offer +145 on 50/50 match-ups.

And even if you think a particular match is 50/50, you can't just assume ur doing urself good by betting the underdog at + money. This would mean that not only would u need to place thousands of bets to make sure u get the benefit of the 'price value' by winning half of those bets, you would also have to make sure that ALL those bets are infact 50/50 match-ups that you bet (an impossible task to say the least).
Thank you! It's not 50/50 simply because you all don't know tennis and say it is...

When a large bet comes in, a bookmaker can also try to lay off the risk by buying bets from other bookmakers. The bookmaker does not generally attempt to make money from the bets themselves, but rather by acting as a market maker and profiting from the event regardless of the outcome. Their working methods are similar to that of an actuary, who does a similar balancing of financial outcomes of events for the assurance and insurance industries."

if you think books DON'T choose sides on SOME games then you're a retard and should stop betting.
most of the time lines are moving to balance action, but not all the time.

THAT is a totally different story. Of course they do on SOME games.

Surprise surprise, Lisicki was crying again in the middle of a game.
That's why she's never going to win anything big. Girl is a mental wreck.
How the fukk can you start crying while the game is in the middle of the 2nd set? That's unprofessional bullshit.
