Every president gets a label placed on his economic platform.Reagan had Reaganomics, trickle down economics and Voodoo economics.

I think Obama's should be called The exciting game without any rules economics.Just hand out random $$$$$$ in all directions to your cronie peeps like Acorn non profit poverty pimps and Tony Soprano, no show, white elephant, public works construction projects.

Hair of the dog that bit you economics would be that it's the same socialist crap FDR gave us 80 years ago that ruined us forever that's being tried again.

Let me get this straight.......you have no problem with the CHIMP starting a war based on lies while lining the profits of the Military Industralplex, OIL WHORES & Saudi Shieks to the tune of 3 trillion dollars in the clusterphuck of IRAQ, while letting bin laden roam free?

But you have a problem with the U.S. government stimulating the economy here at home that is bleeding jobs without any end in sight that could lead to another DEPRESSION ?

what you said about obama if fitting of CHIMP BUSH:

I think BUSH's economic plan should be called The exciting game without any rules economics.Just hand out random $$$$$$ in all directions to your cronie peeps like Haliburton, Exxon Mobil, BEchtel, the Carlyle Group, Black Water, the Saudi Shieks and Iraqi Reconstruction and public works construction projects.

Hair of the dog that bit you voo doo trickle down economics would be that it's the same cronyism, housing bubble, cut tax & spend like a drunken sailor plan that lead us into the GREAT DEPRESSION.[/quote]

He's going to come in and dump an 850 billion dollar stimulus on the country that will do absolutely nothing. The jobs created will be temporary and very limited in scope. He's going to make the problem much worse. We had a stimulus, we've had a bailout and it didn't work did it. Bank of America and Citigroup are insolvent along with other big banks. The banks continue to lie to everyone along with the corrupt Federal Reserve....and an F.Y.I for you, the Federal Reserve is comprised of private for profit banks. Think about that for a second.

We're in deep trouble, more than the average sheep can realize.

You don't have to take an economics class to understand when you printing money backed by nothing eventually inflation kicks in and destroys everyone.

Good luck Obama, your gonna need it your corrupt f!@#.

A very good critique of Obama's first four years in office. Have you got this week's lottery numbers?

the best way to get of a depression is to start a war and sell weapons to both sides. that is how we got out of the great depression.

I would call it the "digging in quicksand" economy. He is proposing taking a large problem, and making it 50X worse. The best strategy would be to do absolutely nothing, and let the market correct itself. Instead he is proposing massive deficits, which everyone knows will lead to inflation the likes of which this country hasn't seen in a long, long time.

Too much borrowing is what got us into this mess, yet the solution seems to be do more of it. When you think about it, his proposals aren't that much different than a reckless gambler who had a big losing weekend, then chasing on the Monday Night game trying to make it back.

Boy you guys are rough. I'm more of an glass half full guy. The Obama economy will eventually get the uninspired name of Obamanomics, but it should really have a catchy name like The Great Ecogreen shell game.
Yes the past president gave his friends unbelievable wealth with hand outs to almost everyone who has a corporate jet, so long as they don't have too many of them nasty blue collar workers on their payroll. Obama's plan will give to the newly packaged oil, financial, and military supply companies as well, except this time like Altria, they will just change their names from Exxon-Mobile to a greener nicer sounding name like Cherrywood Environmental Group. Then they will take the handouts under the fake premise of exploring new renewable energy, only to drag their feet until they milk all the money they can out of the oil patches that are left. Of course the middle class will be left holding the bag as usual. I say join 'em, learn how to invest so that you can have some of the ill gotten gains that these corporate CEO types enjoy. After all it is the American way to be a capitalist.

I beileve that I did predict the last year, at least economically that is, but if you missed it, I will make another bold prediction like I did last year, then everyone except Shamswolf and a couple of others can laff at it until it comes true again.

Sometime this year, the dow will hit 12,000. Yeah I typed it so it shall happen. Of course the dow will also hit 5200, but not until 12,000.

i was referring to the idiots who are saying how bad the next 8 years are. nothing, nothing, can be worse than what has happened the last 8. we legalized torture, started bullshit wars, exploded the debt, and lost jobs, as well as a city (new orleans).

so all the morons telling us how bad obama will be, why couldnt you guys have told us the same for bush? perhaps its because you are morons.
maybe obama will suck, but nothing can suck worse than the liars and thieves in charge the last 8

The Obama economic disaster will be named "Spray and Pray".

Spray lots of cash out in all directions and pray that some of it isn't stolen, waster, misused, bungled, etc., and some of it actually helps the economy.

Unemployment is at 7.2% right now. It will be much lower in 8 years when obama leaves office.

Under Chimp Bush, Americans Are Working Longer, But Wages Are Lagging. Americans have worked harder – and more productively – for their families, but are not receiving the proportionally increased rewards for their hard work. While the productivity of the American worker (output per hour) rose by 18.7 percent between the first quarter of 2001 and the third quarter of 2007, average hourly compensation (wages plus benefits, adjusted for inflation) increased by only 9.1 percent during this period. I don't suppose the war that the Islamofascists started with us on 9/11 could have anything to do with the economy?

Or the fact that the DemoCong fillibustered laws that would have reeled Fannie Mae in and defused the mortgage melt down? That didn't have anything to do with it?

Or the fact that the DemoCong have blocked EVERY energy bill that the Republicans have tried to pass, artificially restricting energy production in the US. That had nothing to do with it?

It is the Congress that makes economic policies, so if you want someone to blame, blame the Congress.

Obama isn't president so why does it matter?

This makes a lot of sense. Obama is going to drastically reduce the unemployment rate by crying and whining about President Bush?

Sometime this year, the dow will hit 12,000. Yeah I typed it so it shall happen. Of course the dow will also hit 5200, but not until 12,000.
Forgive the long read but I spent a lot of time typing it...

I'm flattered and I happen to agree but you probably know that... Obama's plan will create more jobs but for the record I don't believe it's "HIS" plan but that's a minor detail and it will happen..

The jobs created may be not be perminant but the results of those jobs will create NEW industries that either exist at a small level or don't exist yet... The whole infrastructure will be upgraded to be FAR more efficient...

They TOTALLY (knocked the old ones down) rebuilt most of the schools here at all the levels the last four years and have outfited them with FIBER F*CKIN' OPTICS... What the hell for..? Well it's for what is to come and using light as a primary factor for data storage and communications is why...

They built a very modern bridge here and all this during Bush's terms so Obama we don't need schools or bridges buddy... As a matter of fact they are about to approve a grant to set up cameras in most intersections city wide including neighborhoods... The major has said that even though there will be a lot of police retiring soon he will not hire new cops and I think it's because he won't need them... They are automating the police force and we "TOLEDO" has been chosen as the test site for the so called "survallence equipment"... Over the last few years you can see where they are putting it into place and it's not just cameras but wiring the police cars and the station....

Forgive me if I already mentioned this but I was watching "ALF" recently and was thinking to myself about how things were back in 88'... This was slightly before the development of the internet as we known it with browsers etc. With just the introduction of the net jobs like Web Design and even your own ability to start a business and reach out to so many people became possible... Anyone with a good idea or product can get a home business rolling over night.. I know ...I did it with the helmets...

THIS WAS TOTALLY UNHEARD OF in 1988 and the new infrastructure will make a MUCH LARGER impact along with the arrival of nano-tech. which is already starting to become a buzz word.. I saw an electric shaver that advertised "WITH NANO-TECHNOLOGY"... The older people will have a harder time because they are less willing to change or learn something new... I believe the people that are willing to learn something new and adapt to the upcoming industries will be fine and actually thrive...

OUT WITH THE OLD and IN WITH THE NEW... Don't worry about where the money will come from because there is plenty of it to go around.. just give it a little time... The next 2 years will be even worse but the turnaround will start to happen after that but it'll be slow just like the last 8 years of events didn't all happen at once...

I was not only pretty good on the last 8 years but I have been good since the mid 80's... Back then I just predicted the arrival of new technologies and industries but that didn't matter no one believed it then either and that was just stuff like the internet and flat screens...
