Nicky The Major Invented "Call Me" "The Game is Over"

I remember it well, when posters got out of line or he was pissed at a sportsbook he would starts threads with these two phrases and it really took off as many guys use the call me thread now or call me posts. What was amazing is when he put you in the thread every guy would call him back mainly because they feared him. I remember it well, I had many call me threads where I had to call him as did Sick Gambler, we both never once did not call him back, with today's forum owners and posters the call me threads are mainly ignored.

the major was a nut and most feared guy offshore.. he never lost an argument. he was wacko and very unpredictable.. so many times he wanted to meet me, as he'd be here in montreal 23x a year.. he lives a few hrs from here, and he'd always want to meet for supper or lunch.. and i'd always say i am busy that day. He used to go everywhere in public with his army uniform..i was scared of him.

i hardly frequented OGD.. i never liked that place because i just found Peeps people were all a bunch of pavyracer.. a bunch of angry angry guys bad mouthing everyone. nothing nice was ever said about any poster there or any book.

but i will say this. i spoke to russy (the major), maybe 6 times on the phone, and i swear, each time, except maybe once did he ball me out and yell and go nuts on me, for no reason, too.. his favorite saying was... "you lying sack of shit" # of times he's said this in his forum in his career? 1,948 times.. he loved that saying.. very dangerous guy.. i am still scared of him till today..

JJ and BP couldnt get out of the EOG quick enough, they were scared to death, i never seen anything like that in my life. It lead me to believe that Russ had some serious dirt on those two, and they were scared" little bitches". I miss the Major, he could spit venom like no other.

The Major was a runner back in the early 90's in Vegas, supposedly he pulled a Baltimore Colts and left town in the middle of the night with one of the syndicates bank rolls he was betting for. There really are only two sides of the story, Russ's and his employer, so the rest is speculation with what really happened. Knowing Russ and the amount of money he made with Major Wager, i wouldnt be shocked to hear that he paid back the money, if any of the story is actually true. He was a pretty stand up guy from what i can tell about paying gambling debts, so im sure the debt was taken care of. Man i miss those days.......

Last I spoke with The Major, he told me to stay off his *** board so I never went back. Man he was mad. It was over the Royal fiasco with David1 who failed the lie detector test. I had to eat some crow on that one, but it happens. It was a tough case and prob the most bizarre ever.

Some people could say it's on autopilot Coach, however I for one like the new format. The original stories and the follow up stories are all in order. It's actually something I've considered doing for a while now myself actually in regards to the industry section.

I think he is still around Gold, i think he just turned over the day to day operations to some other people. His absence has really caused a decline in the traffic of that place, alot of people have jumped ship and moved over to the other forums.

I made E-5, but passed on ceremony because I was leaving so technically an E-4 upon release. I use the screen name General in respect for Coach Knight. I used peterose when I 1st started posting at freewinners, freaks, everyedge and wisewagering.

Too bad....that was funny sh!t....I remember in one of the videos he was talking about the Major and Uncle Lenny being two of the scariest people he ever met....he described Lenny as a fella that walked around Costa Rica in the heat of the day wearing "a fur and gold chains".....that image has stuck with me and still cracks me up.
